P is for Peeling will take you around half an hour to read, this one revolves around a guy who thinks he's pretty much the greatest yet to be published writer in the world, and expects when he takes his book to a meet the publishers and agents convention that they will be fighting each other to sign him up. He looks down his nose at horror, romance, self published authors and well everyone else really. He knows this is the day that will change his life but he's got this really bad cough and is starting to itch in embarrassing places. Still nothing will stop his destiny.The book is interesting in that Iain Rob Wright has obviously put some of himself or his career experiences into the other writers that are looked down upon by the main character. A young attractive female has written a book that's plot is Animal Kingdom for example. P is for Peeling isn't my favourite of all the short stories I've read by Iain Rob Wright, but it is definitely one all fans of the author's work should check out.

Great story! It's a quick read, but a good one.
I loved all the name play that was in this story. It was a quick fun read and I enjoyed it a lot. I do need to get caught up on the rest of the alphabet!
Poor Patrick, he just wanted to get published but wound up peeling with a possibly putrid plague. Pleasantly horrific read, recommend to all fans of modern horror.
An author wants to be published but refuses to grow a thick skin and handle rejection from publishers. While I've liked many of this author's previous works, this was enough to make me say, enough is enough.
I like the quick short reads and the A-Z stories have been unique, creepy and attention grabbing.
A man is trying to get his novel published, but has come down with some kind of bug. Rather than go to a doctor, this man continues to pursue his dream and ends up in some rather nasty situations.
Don't read if you have a weak stomach.
I came across Iain Rob Wright through the help of Book Bub about 2 months ago. I've been grabbing up everything he writes since then!
P is for Peeling is off the charts. I don't do story spoilers but if you love good horror, I highly recommend this. From the initial character's point of view on what is happening to him, it just gets better and better as you try to imagine what you yourself would do in that situation. Would you be scared? Would you drop everything and try to get help? Or would you push on thinking things will eventually be OK?
Charles Raven is the world's greatest writer waiting to be discovered.....at least in his own mind. He has just finished his masterpiece.There's a publisher/agent convention that only comes once a year and this is going to be his big break. Not even feeling a bit sick is going to stop him. Not even feeling really, really sick is going to stop him.
Maybe it's because I'm also an author but I felt like I had met Charles and some of the other characters before and really connected with them. Charles is an ass, but Iain Rob Wright manages to make him believable. I felt empathy for him.....at least a little bit.
The story was great as is everything Iain has written. This is my new favorite of IRW's A-Z collection. The ending was very fitting and I can't wait to read Q-Z.
